Illusion of Change |

Have you noticed that Management has been trying to show us that it is changing its ways? Are they "communicating" more? Frequently in a Union drive, management gives the illusion that they hear its workers and are making changes. The simple fact is that they have been taking surveys for years, and we’ve given our honest opinion of what we need, and have seen no results. They may toss us a cookie or two in an attempt to pacify us during this drive. Remember that the only legal way to make any of their positive changes stick and influence more changes is with a Union. The temporary change is little more than an illusion and a delay tactic to avoid worthwhile, permanent change. |
